Dr Horrible won the People’s Choice Award for Favourite Online Sensation! The award wasn’t presented as part of the ceremony but the Dr Horrible team have Twittered their thanks. And on the subject of the good doctor, in this interview, Joss Whedon admitted he’s plotting more adventures for Billy & co, though he isn’t sure as yet what form they’ll take.

Saturday Night Live have released a promo on Hulu for Neil’s hosting appearance this Saturday. It’s only viewable inside the United States right now, but if you can watch it, do! And we’ll let you know as soon as it turns up on YouTube or the like, where everybody can watch it.

Finally, on Sunday March 8th Neil will be hosting the 41st Annual Academy of Magical Arts awards. Tickets range from $50 to $250, doors open at 6pm for a 7pm start.

The Bro Code

Simon & Schuster have released some information and the cover artwork for the upcoming release of Barney’s Bro Code. The book comes out on October 14th, and is written by Barney Stinson and (HIMYM writer) Matt Kuhn. You can pre-order it at Amazon.com for $10.40, a saving of $2.60 on the recommended price of $13.00 (or £5.98 on Amazon.co.uk)

It’s also worth noting that on the Simon & Schuster page, under “other editions” they list both compact disc and e-audio, “Read by: Neil Patrick Harris”.

Neil is listed to appear on Letterman next Wednesday, August 27th.
