Neil will be a guest the Ellen DeGeneres Show tomorrow, October 31st. The show is syndicated so airs at different times and on different networks – you can check your local listings at the Ellen show site here.

He’ll also be appearing on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson this Friday, November 4th. The show airs on CBS at 12.35am/11.35pm Central. If you’re in the Los Angeles area and are interested in attending the taping, it will be recording on Thursday at 4.30pm after they finish taping Thursday’s show. Neil spent some time this weekend doing press junket interviews for Harold & Kumar 3, which hits cinemas in the US this Friday (December 9 in the UK). You can see Neil, John Cho and Kal Penn talk to JaketheMovieGuy here.

People magazine scans

We’ve finally added scans from Neil & David’s People interview into the gallery. Thank you to Helena from GoslingFan.com for providing us with such big ones to add!

It also looks as if unfortunately, Neil’s appearance on Ellen tomorrow has fallen victim to his busy schedule, as he’s been replaced in the lineup with Vince Vaughn.

TV Guide has a couple of quotes from Neil in their roundup from a couple of panels on Wednesday at winter TCA Press Tour.

As well as the two shows he was already scheduled to be part of at SF Sketchfest – Brian Henson in Conversation with Neil Patrick Harris, and The Paul F Tompkins Show on Sunday January 23rd – he has also been added to the lineup for the 9.30pm performance of the Thrilling Adventure Hour on Saturday January 22nd. He will join Alison Brie, Colin Hanks, Samm Levine, and Busy Philipps, amongst others, in at the Marine’s Memorial Theatre. Tickets are still available and cost $40/$50.

Neil on Ellen, Shorty Awards voting

The 3rd Annual Shorty Awards are in full swing, and you can nominate pretty much anything/anyone that’s on Twitter. We would love it if you would take a moment to nominate us, Neil, or The Trevor Project for one of this year’s awards.

PopSugar talked to Neil on the blue carpet at the People’s Choice Awards, you can see their video here, while the official People’s Choice Awards youtube has an interview with him here as well as his acceptance speech here if you hadn’t managed to see it yet.

Neil attended the opening night of the LA stop of Rent’s National Tour at the Pantages Theatre on Friday night, and we’ve added pictures to the gallery. Rent runs in LA until March 8th and stars original Broadway cast members Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp.

Other news – Neil was in the American Idol audience again last night – caps from last week and last night to come as soon as I get a chance to sort them out! He’ll also be appearing on the Ellen DeGeneres Show next Monday (March 2nd), presumably to talk about the Academy of Magic Awards which he’ll be hosting and co-producing a week on Sunday.

Neil gets “dunked” on Ellen

Huge thanks to Amber for letting us know that the video of Neil being dunked on Ellen is now up on YouTube, here. Microsoft Windows Mobile bosses are donated $10,000 to the Ellen For The Cure cancer drive for every celebrity “dunked” on Ellen DeGeneres’ show during October.

Also, Neil is one of the things you can vote for on EW’s 2008 Entertainer of the Year: Reader’s Pick bracket vote. He’s up against Heath Ledger’s Joker in the first round, so it’ll be a tough choice for a lot of people. Head over and show your NPH support!

“Believe” Gala opening & more

Neil is on the list of VIPs set to attend tonight’s Gala opening of Cirque du Soleil and Criss Angel’s latest show, “Believe”.

During the month of October, Microsoft Windows Mobile bosses are donating $10,000 to the Ellen For The Cure cancer drive for every celebrity “dunked” on Ellen DeGeneres’ show. Earlier this week, Neil became one of those celebrities. If anybody has a video of this, we’d love to see it!

Justice League: The New Frontier, in which Neil voiced The Flash, is available on Blu-Ray now.

Ellen & Gallery Update

The wonderful madamotaku has uploaded Neil’s appearance on today’s Ellen DeGeneres show. Watch the video to hear Neil talking about crank calling Mekhi Phifer, practising his “losing face” for the Emmy’s on Sunday, and marvel as he performs a new magic trick!

In addition, the gallery has been updated with a lot of new stuff. HIMYM caps now run through to the end of season three, there are some new promo shots from 4.02 (slight spoilers if you don’t know anything about the plot of the episode), a few more photos from the CBS Comedies Premiere Party, some shots of Neil on day one of the pre-Emmy DPA Gifting Lounge, and finally, a previously unposted (MQ) photoshoot by Kharen Hill from earlier this year.
