While they were in New York last week, Neil and David recorded an episode of The Chew with chef Mario Batali. Airdate is yet to be officially confirmed but is expected to be early January. The Chew airs weekdays at 1et/12pt/c on ABC.

Neil is also scheduled to make his annual appearance narrating the Candlelight Processional at Walt Disney World next week, December 10th-12th.

Neil and David are scheduled to attend Trevor Live LA on Sunday, December 4th at the Hollywood Palladium. Celebs joining them will include a number of the cast of Glee, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Rashida Jones and many others.

Neil has been added to the list of presenters for this year’s Grammy awards. The ceremony takes place at the Staples Center this coming Sunday, February 13th, and will be broadcast live on CBS from 8pm til 11.30pm.

Eight-time GRAMMY^® winner, current nominee, and 2011 MusiCares^® Person of the Year Barbra Streisand will appear in a rare performance on the 53rd Annual GRAMMY Awards^® (www.grammy.com), and three-time GRAMMY winner Kris Kristofferson will introduce Streisand’s performance. Last night saw Neil presenting the Spike Video Game Awards 2010 and EW caught up with him beforehand to discuss his gaming preferences. And whilst it may be a bit late to link to a promo for a show which has now aired, how could we not share this?

Spike TV have announced that Neil will be hosting their eighth annual video games awards, to be broadcast live this Sunday on Spike TV.

 The eighth annual “VGAs” will be a global event, broadcasting in over 175 territories and countries around the world and gathering some of the most notable names in video games, Hollywood, music, sports and more to honor the outstanding achievements within the video game industry over the past year.  The two-hour event, taking place in Los Angeles, CA, will premiere LIVE on Spike TV Saturday, Dec. 11 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.

Neil will also be appearing on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson this coming Friday, December 10th.

The Trevor Project have announced that Neil will be joining a number of star names for at this year’s Trevor LIVE event. Neil will be performing a duet with James Marsden at the event, which takes place Sunday, December 5th at the Hollywood Palladium.

Hollywood’s most talented and irreverent stars will gather at the Hollywood Palladium to celebrate “Trevor LIVE”, the annual show benefitting The Trevor Project on Sunday, December 5, 2010. Recognizing the suicide prevention efforts of community leaders, the Trevor Life Award honoree is Kathy Griffin, and Trevor Hope Award honoree is Levi Strauss & Co., with guest performances by Sarah Silverman, Wayne Brady, Taye Diggs and Idina Menzel, Neil Patrick Harris and James Marsden, Queen Latifah, Telly Leung, The Dan Band, and Tracie Thoms. This one-of-a-kind show is under the guidance of Special Guest Producing Director Adam Shankman, with Special Guest Musical Director Ricky Minor, Special Guest Choreographer Mia Michaels, and Special Guest Script Writers Carol Liefer and Bruce Vilanch.

Following the success of 2008′s telethon, Stand Up To Cancer will once again be taking over the airwaves to raise money for cancer research, on Friday, September 10th. The telethon will air live and commercial-free on ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, Bio, Discovery Health, E!, G4, HBO, HBO Latino, MLB Network, mun2, Showtime, Smithsonian Channel, The Style Network, TV One, and VH1.

Executive produced by Laura Ziskin, the special will be hosted Katie Couric, Diane Sawyer, and Brian Williams (the anchors, respectively, of the CBS, ABC and NBC evening news programs), and will feature numerous celebrity cancer survivors who exemplify that cancer can affect even the smartest, strongest and toughest people in our lives. Those expected to participate include Christina Applegate, Lance Armstrong, Fran Drescher, Elizabeth Edwards, Delta Goodrem, Michael C. Hall, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Sharon Osbourne, Robin Roberts, Maura Tierney, Sofia Vergara, Marissa Jaret Winokur and Ethan Zohn. In non-Emmy news, there’s a short snippet of an interview with Neil where he talks about the “gypsy” nature of acting, at Hollywood Outbreak.

Neil will join Christina Aguilera, Tom Hanks, and previously announced presenters including Jennifer Aniston, Halle Berry and Mel Gibson, in presenting an award at the 67th Annual Golden Globes.

The Golden Globes will be telecast live on NBC, January 17th. The awards will be broadcast simultaneously coast-to-coast, 5 to 8 pm PT, 8 to 11 pm ET.
