Neil talks to David Martindale of DFW.com about HIMYM, Harold & Kumar and more. And the name “RoBarney”, hated in fandom but becoming more widespread amongst the people who actually get to talk to the cast, rears its ugly head again.

Neil also gets a mention in this Hollywood Reporter critics’ pick list of who should win Emmys this year. It’s time for Piven to move over!

On another note, we know that there’s been a bit of a tabloid flurry about a certain story to do with Neil & David over the last week or so, and that we haven’t posted anything about it here. We just wanted to make it clear that we have the utmost respect for Neil’s privacy, especially when it comes to rumours and gossip, and our general rule of thumb is that we don’t post anything here that we feel he wouldn’t like to see if he ever came across the site. That also applies to the gallery, which is why you won’t find any stalkerazzi photos there.

Neil will be co-hosting Live with Regis & Kelly tomorrow morning with guests Ali Larter and Jamie Foxx. If you’re not sure when it airs in your area, you can use their local listings finder here.

Neil and Alyson Hannigan have both donated prizes to this auction to raise money for the Waterkeeper Alliance. The prize being offered up by Aly is the chance for a walk-on role in HIMYM, and Neil’s prize is the chance to have dinner with him and three of your friends at LA’s Magic Castle.

Finally, don’t forget he’ll be appearing on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon tomorrow night, alongside Emily Deschanel.
