Neil to host Creative Arts Emmys

In a press release earlier today, the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced that Neil and Sarah Chalke are to host this year’s Creative Arts Emmy Awards.

“How I Met Your Mother‘s Neil Patrick Harris and Scrubs‘ Sarah Chalke will host the 2008 Primetime Creative Arts Emmy® Awards on Saturday, September 13 from the NOKIA Theatre it was announced today by Lee Miller and Steve Venezia, Executive Producers of the Creative Arts show. The show will air as a 2-hour special on E! Entertainment Television on Saturday, September 20 at 8:00 p.m.

Spike Jones Jr. will return to produce the show for the fourteenth year. “Everyone knows how great Neil and Sarah are as actors. Now they’ll get the opportunity to see how fearless they are as live hosts,” said Jones, Jr.”
