Neil will be directing the upcoming LA production of Derek DelGaudio and Helder Guimaraes’ sleight-of-hand-based show Nothing to Hide, debuting at the Geffen Playhouse on November 27 and running through January 6. Neil previously directed the Guy Hollingworth close-up magic show Expert at the Card Table for the 2008 Edinburgh festival and again for the show’s US premiere in Los Angeles in 2011.
An unlikely series of events has led two of the world’s most gifted sleight-of-hand artists, Derek DelGaudio (2011 Close-Up Magician of the Year) and Helder Guimarães (2011 Parlour Magician of the Year), to share a stage. Fresh from sold-out performances at the Magic Castle, DelGaudio and Guimarães have joined forces with director Neil Patrick Harris to present Nothing to Hide, a unique and unprecedented theatrical event. Abandoning the antiquated notions of a traditional magic show, Nothing to Hide takes the audience on an imaginary journey through a series of diverse and engaging vignettes brought to life solely from the words and hands of the two masterful magicians.

On the subject of magic: according to the Hollywood Reporter a feature film based on the Magic Castle is entering pre-production. Neil is the President of the Board of Directors of the Magic Castle.
A little more news is also emerging about Neil’s puppet show for the Nerdist Channel on YouTube – the series is slated to premiere late November, according to Us Magazine.
