killed me that i didnt get to stay till the end! killed me even more when I saw all the photos people got with him! but i did get a “I LOVE YOU NEIL!” and “BYE NEIL!” he’s acknowledged my existence which is pretty darn cool! (sorry if i counts as heckling though!) i think he’s gone now but hope he comes back soon! best and brightest might have a movie premiere right?

It was amazing watching Neil work. The guy is quite the professional. There were a few fluffed lines at the end (it was pretty damn late, he must have been exhausted) but that was about it. At the end they had to shoot a few “next time on THE CUBE” bits and he apologised to us several times for making us stay.

There was very little time for photo taking or anything at the end as the crew were very anxious to clear the building quickly. I didn’t get anywhere near, which is a bit of a shame, but I got to spend nearly five hours watching him do his stuff, so can’t really complain!

(When he was doing the photos, in my head calling out “Don’t screw it up, Neil!” sounded funny. And then it came out massively creepy. I should just not talk in these situations in future!)

I really wish I could have stayed – the last bus to Leeds was 11.30 from Victoria and if I didn’t catch it I was facing a night with nowhere to sleep and a 6am (very expensive!) train home, so I just had to suck it up and go. Still, that’s twice now I’ve been in the audience for something he’s done, so maybe third time lucky I’ll actually get to have a chat!

Shame you had to leave. By the end, it was just half the audience left and they had to squish us all up the front to make the audience look full. Filming was done at about 11.45pm then, he kept his promise and came and took photos with all of us, he was so sweet. Had a good chat with him. It was well worth staying the whole time.
I was “camera girl” I hope I didn’t come across as annoying as “yellow tie” but I was just soooo excited. Also, I love in this blog post that you mentioned my shoutout about Dr Horrible (couldn’t resist, had “laundry day” stuck in my head all day long).
I hope everyone had as good a night as I did!
