CBS Fall Preview Reminder

The CBS fall preview show, hosted by the cast of HIMYM, airs tonight on CBS at 8.30pm. Neil, Jason, Josh, Aly and Cobie will “exchange humorous banter throughout the special”, and “utilize comical means to drive home the point that HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER is moving to 8:00 PM on Mondays”. That’s surely something you don’t want to miss!

HIMYM Emmy Nomination Event

The HIMYM cast are finally back to work and they’ve kicked off with an Emmy nomination party held in MacLaren’s. There are various videos around, Neil talks to Access Hollywood about the nomination and the possibility of a fist-fight with Nathan Fillion as part of the show, and to Zap2it about his hosting preparations.

The Academy’s plans to time-shift 8 of the Emmy award presentations have been scrapped.

And finally, congrats to Dr Horrible on winning the Hugo award for Best Dramatic Presentation, Short Form!

HIMYM S4 DVD & Blu-ray details

TV Shows On DVD have confirmed that the Region 1 DVD and Blu-ray will be released on September 29th.

Extras include a recap of Season 3, Commentary Tracks, Gag Reel, the “Barney Stinson: That Guy’s Awesome” Music Video, the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Panel Discussion and an Easter Egg.

HIMYM S4 DVD Pre-Orders/”Top Chef Masters”

As already announced on our Twitter, Season 4 of HIMYM is now available to pre-order on Amazon, although no release date has been given as yet. The promo shot on the provisional cover (a marked improvement over S3 in my opinion) can be found in the gallery.

Neil has been chosen as one of the guest judges for Bravo’s “Top Chef Masters” which premieres on June 10th.

HIMYM time change

Breaking news: This coming Monday, March 23rd, HIMYM’s new episode “Old King Clancy” will air in The Big Bang Theory’s regular timeslot of 8/7c. If you tune in at the usual time of 8.30, you’ll get a rerun of The Bracket. Don’t forget!!

“The Stinsons” rescheduled

CBS have officially issued a press release with March 2nd as the new airdate for episode 4.15, The Stinsons. I Heart NJ and Intervention will be rerunning the next two weeks.

“”The Stinsons” – When the gang suspects that Barney has a girlfriend after he mysteriously leaves MacLaren’s, they decide to follow him, on HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, Monday, March 2 (8:30-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. (Previously scheduled for an earlier date) ”

In other news, there are a lot of articles suddenly appearing stemming from a rumour posted on ScreenRant linking Neil with the role of The Flash in the upcoming live action movie. Right now they’re no more than just rumours (the screenplay is still currently being written and as yet doesn’t even have a director attached, let alone any cast) but we’ll keep you up to date with any further developments!
