Sorry for the delay in posting the big news – myself and Hilary have both been on holiday this week, and unfortunately our vacations overlapped! I’m sure most of you will have heard already, but you can now pre-order Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blogon Amazon.com.

It’s listed at $14.99 and is due for release on December 19th, though Joss Whedon is “hoping Amazon is just playing it safe and we can beat that date”, so get those pre-orders in quick! There’s currently no word on an international release or whether this will be region free, so more on that as and when we know it. Extras are due to include “Commentary! The Musical” as well as a regular spoken commentary, making-of’s, Evil League of Evil application videos and more. At the time of writing, after under two days of pre-orders, it’s at #71 in Amazon’s DVD sales rank.

Onto other things, AOL have done a “15 questions” with Neil here, you can watch Neil’s interview from Tuesday’s Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson here, and he’ll reportedly be presenting an award at Spike TV’s Video Game Awards on December 14th. Finally, Murder, She Wrote: The Complete Ninth Season is now available for pre-order (released Feb 17th next year). Neil guest starred in episode 9, Lone Witness.

Dr. Horrible DVD in Time for Holidays

According to the Dr. Horrible Twitter, the Dr. Horrible DVD will be available in time for the holidays and there will be some new updated information on the official site soon.

Dr Horrible DVD to ship before Christmas

Good news! Fansite DoctorHorrible.net recently interviewed Dr Horrible producer Michael Boretz. The interview covers his time as Joss’s assistant right up to his recent work on the internet musical, but the most important information to come from the interview is that “the goal is for both the DVD and CD to be available for pre-order in the near future and hopefully they will be shipping before Christmas”.

Dr Horrible now available via UK & Australian iTunes

It’s taken a while but the episodes are finally available for those of us outside the US and Canada. In the UK, it costs £3.99 for the full series, or you can purchase each Act individually for £1.49. In Australia those prices are $5.99 for all three parts, and $2.99 per Act.

Dr Horrible Liner Notes and Lyrics now available

The soundtrack hits iTunes today and now the official Dr Horrible site has provided us with lyrics and liner notes. The mystery can now be solved -yes, there were four sweater vests. And overseas fans will be pleased to hear that download is available internationally.

Dr. Horrible Soundtrack Release Date

According to MTV Splash Page, the Dr. Horrible soundtrack will be available for download from iTunes from September 2nd. Also there’s going to be a new Dr. Horrible webcomic written by Zack Whedon: a spin-off for Dr. Horrible’s henchman Moist, the first webcomic focussed on Captain Hammer.
