Clothes Off Our Back are auctioning the Dolce & Gabbana tie that Neil wore on the Emmys red carpet (seen here). Proceeds from the auction benefit Clothes Off Our Back’s charities including Feeding America, The Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA, Malaria No More and Hope North. The auction closes this Thursday, October 22nd, at 17:00 PST and the bidding currently stands at $105 – a bargain!

Clothes Off Our Back are also auctioning a script from the pilot episode of HIMYM, signed by all five cast members. Bidding for that also closes at 17:00 on Thursday and the current high bid is $150.

Signed Dr Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog print and DVD on eBay

Neil has donated a, 8 x 10 print signed by himself, Joss Whedon, Nathan Fillion and Felicia Day which is being offered together with a brand new, unsigned copy of the Dr Horrible DVD.

All proceeds go to the San Francisco AIDS Foundation.

Bidding ends on 10th July and currently stands at $760.00.

HIMYM Cast signed bag for auction

This year at Divine Design, the West Coast’s premiere fashion and home shopping event, 100% of proceeds from sales will directly benefit Project Angel Food‘s mission to nourish the body and spirit of men, women and children affected by HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other life-threatening illnesses.

At the event, leading designers donate gorgeous fashions, furniture, beauty and gift items that are sold 50%-90% off retail. Trina, a line of luxury cosmetic bags, is donating close to $20,000 worth of product for the event but will also be raising additional money for Project Angel Food in a special auction on E-Bay starting December 5.

One of the bags available is signed by all five main cast members of How I Met Your Mother, and you can bid on that here. To see the other items available, readers can help those in need by logging on to www.ebay.com, keyword “Trina for Project Angel Food” and start bidding from December 5th!

Clothes Off Our Back auction & Blush nightclub anniversary

The lovely folks at Clothes Off Our Back dropped us a line to let us know about their current auctions. Among the items currently up for bid is the Paul Smith tie that Neil wore to this year’s Emmy awards ceremony. The bid currently stands at $90 and the auction closes on October 21st at 17:00 PST.

Last night Neil and David attended the first anniversary party of Blush nightclub in Las Vegas, Nevada. We’ve updated the gallery with photos from the red carpet and inside the party.

HIMYM walk-on role up for auction

HealthCorps Auction is currently auctioning a lot donated by Neil. HealthCorps educates American youth about the workings and wonders of their bodies through in/after school seminars on diet, nutrition, exercise.

The item in question is a day on the set of HIMYM, and a walk-on role.

“Includes: Walk on role for one person on How I Met Your Mother; non-speaking role. Winner must be 18 years or older. Scheduling based on availability and must be redeemed within one year of the close of the auction. Meet and greets based on cast members’ availability and winner is not guaranteed to meet every actor. Signed memorabilia to be determined by donor on day of set visit.”

The bid currently stands at $2,750.

What Book Got You Hooked?

Neil has shown his support for the “What Book Got You Hooked?” campaign with a quote about the book that got him hooked.

“What Book Got You Hooked?” invites book lovers everywhere to join First Book in sharing the joy of great books with the children who need them most. At its core, the campaign celebrates the profound power of the picture and chapter books we can never forget and the critical role they play in developing a lifelong love of reading.

In 2007, First Book celebrated the distribution of its 50 millionth book to children in need by asking a simple question: “What book got YOU hooked?” Visitors to the website were invited to recall the first books that sparked their love of reading, and then vote for the state to receive 50,000 brand new books.

Join them this year in sharing the joy of great books with kids who need them most. Voting closes at midnight on September 15, 2008. Results of the national vote – as well as a Top 50 list of books that got readers hooked – will be published here in September.
