Neil will be a guest the Ellen DeGeneres Show tomorrow, October 31st. The show is syndicated so airs at different times and on different networks – you can check your local listings at the Ellen show site here.

He’ll also be appearing on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson this Friday, November 4th. The show airs on CBS at 12.35am/11.35pm Central. If you’re in the Los Angeles area and are interested in attending the taping, it will be recording on Thursday at 4.30pm after they finish taping Thursday’s show. Neil spent some time this weekend doing press junket interviews for Harold & Kumar 3, which hits cinemas in the US this Friday (December 9 in the UK). You can see Neil, John Cho and Kal Penn talk to JaketheMovieGuy here.

Belated news roundup

On October 10th Neil appeared at Joseph Gordon Levitt’s HitRECord Fall Formal. There are a number of videos on hitrecord.org – for example here and here – as this show was “an evening of vivacious live performance, sensational cinema & collaborative recording”, the audience were encouraged to record and so there are a lot of different versions/angles to watch. The clearest one I’ve found is here (though you might want to turn down your volume or cover your ears for until the sketch actually starts!) and there’s also a statement here that’s interesting to read after watching the skit.

Cinemax went on the set of the new Harold & Kumar movie and there’s some interview clips with Neil as well as John Cho and Kal Penn in their behind the scenes video. A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas is released across the USA on November 4, and we are very pleased to welcome John-Cho Fan and Kal Penn Fan to our affiliates.

CoasterRadio interviews Neil

The Season Six Premiere of Coaster Radio features an interview with Neil. Neil currently provides the intro and outro for every episode of the Original Theme Park Podcast, and helped to promote Theme Park Change, a charity event that ran in April to raise money for Project Angel Food.

On this week’s show, Neil joins the guys for some excellent theme park talk.

He tells the guys about how he first became fascinated with the amusement industry. He talks about his favorite rides and attractions and what he looks for in a good ride.

He also talks about his “behind the scenes” involvement in some attractions and shows that you have probably experienced yourself.

Neil looks back on the Halloween Yard Haunt that he built in his own backyard and turns to EB and Mike for advice on what rides he should experience with his twin babies.

Plus, there are a lot of other fun topics and surprises!

NPH on this week’s Entertainment Weekly Cover

Neil is on the cover of this week’s Entertainment Weekly and has written their cover story – his own Hollywood Survival guide. The issue is on stands September 23.

Neil & David to be honored by LA Gay & Lesbian Center

Neil and David will be honored at L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center’s 40th Anniversary Gala & Auction. The event will take place on Saturday November 12th at the Westin Bonaventure in LA. The event’s theme is “40 Years of Family” and David told eonline how honored they are. The official press release is here.

Harris and Burtka are steadfast supporters of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) organizations, including the Center. They’ve given generously to help LifeWorks, the Center’s youth development and mentoring program, thrive.

The two have been out publicly for years, and as the proud fathers of twins they’re the perfect pair to join the Center in celebrating “40 Years of Family” at the gala.

“We’re honored to be a part of this important celebration for the Center, which offers so many important services to LGBT youth and LGBT-parented families like ours,” Harris says. “The gala raises thousands of dollars to support services like meals and housing for homeless youth, a charter school for young people bullied and harassed in traditional schools, mentoring services and much more.”

Walk of Fame Star Ceremony interviews

Neil’s Walk of Fame star ceremony, in which his star on Hollywood Blvd was unveiled, took place yesterday. The guest speakers were Joss Whedon and Jason Segel – to see Jason’s speech and Neil’s, E! Online has video of them up now, as well as a quick interview with Neil that took place after the ceremony. Joss’s speech can be viewed on YouTube, and official footage from the ceremony should be going up on the Walk of Fame YouTube account in the next few days. Neil told ET Online that he can’t wait to go back and see his star after all of the people are gone, and they also include a clip of the actual unveiling in their video.

Neil on Penguins of Madagascar & Adventure Time

Neil voiced a character named Prince Gumball in this week’s episode of Adventure Time With Finn & Jake - Adventure Time with Fionna and Cake, following the preview that aired at this year’s San Diego Comic Con.

How I Met Your Mother star Neil Patrick Harris lends his voice to a special episode of Cartoon Network’s hit animated series Adventure Time. Neil Patrick Harris stars as Prince Gumball in Adventure Time with Fionna and Cake, a gender-swapping, parallel universe episode featuring the female “Fionna” and her cat “Cake.”

The episode premieres Monday, Sept. 5 at 8 p.m. (ET/PT). No appearance by Neil Patrick Harris would be complete with out a song.

Adventure Time introduces viewers to unlikely heroes Finn and Jake, buddies who traverse the mystical Land of Ooo and encounter its colorful inhabitants. The best of friends, our heroes always find themselves in the middle of heart-pounding escapades. Finn, a silly boy with an awesome hat and Jake, a brassy dog with a big kind heart, depend on each other through thick and thin.

He’ll also return to Nickelodeon’s Penguins of Madagascar as Dr Blowhole this Friday, September 9 at 8pm ET/PT in Penguins of Madagascar: Blowhole Strikes Back!

Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother) returns as the title characters’ sinister nemesis, Dr. Blowhole, in Nickelodeon’s brand-new Penguins of Madagascar special, “Blowhole Strikes Back,” premiering Friday, Sept. 9, at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT). The hour-long special features Harris performing in four original musical numbers, two of which he is singing alongside The Penguins of Madagascar characters. The series recently garnered six Daytime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Children’s Animated Program, Outstanding Performer in an Animated Program (Danny Jacobs) and Outstanding Writing in Animation.
